Book a cleaner in Romford – Dates and price agreed upfront

Book a Cleaner in Romford

To book a cleaner in Romford, send us your address, the type of clean, a few dates that suit you and anything we should know about the property. We’ll check availability, agree the scope and price with you upfront, then confirm the booking by email.

There’s no automated checkout here. A real person reads your request and replies, so the clean you book matches the home or premises you’ve actually got.

What to include in your booking request

A good request gets you a firm booking faster. Most people cover it in a short email or a five-minute call.

  • Your address and postcode. We cover Romford and the wider RM area, including Gidea Park, Collier Row, Harold Wood, Harold Hill, Hornchurch, Upminster, Rush Green and Elm Park. A postcode lets us confirm we can reach you and plan travel between jobs.
  • The type of clean. Regular, one-off, deep, end of tenancy, after builders, office or shop. If you’re not sure, describe the situation and we’ll suggest the right one.
  • Property size. Bedrooms and bathrooms for homes. Rough floor area, number of rooms and toilets for commercial premises.
  • Condition. Be honest. A kitchen that hasn’t had a proper clean since the last tenants moved out takes longer than one that’s wiped down weekly, and we’d rather plan for it than run over on the day.
  • Preferred dates and times. Give us two or three options if you can.
  • Access. Whether you’ll be in, keys with a neighbour or agent, a key safe, parking, building entry codes or alarm details.
  • Pets, allergies and delicate surfaces. Natural stone worktops, unsealed wood floors, a dog that doesn’t like visitors. Tell us before we arrive.
  • Photos. For one-off jobs, a few phone photos of the kitchen, bathroom and any problem areas help us price accurately.

If you’d like a price before you commit to a date, our free quote request is the better starting point. You can turn the quote into a booking afterwards.

Choosing a cleaning date and time

Tell us when suits you, and we’ll come back with what we can offer. Availability changes week to week, so we don’t show a live calendar that might be out of date by the time you look at it.

A few things worth planning for:

  • End of tenancy cleans work best once the property is empty. Furniture and boxes hide skirting boards, carpet edges and the floor under the bed. Book the clean after your removal van, and before your inventory check or key handover, leaving yourself some margin.
  • After builders cleans should wait until the trades have finished. If the plasterer is still sanding, the fine dust will settle again overnight.
  • Carpet cleaning needs drying time. Carpets are usually damp for several hours afterwards, so avoid booking it the morning furniture is being delivered.
  • Offices and shops are usually best cleaned outside opening hours. Tell us your opening times and when the building is locked, and we’ll work around them where we can.
  • Regular cleans run on a set day and time once agreed, weekly or fortnightly for most homes.

Short-notice requests are always worth asking about. We’ll fit you in if we have a slot, but we can’t promise same-day or next-day availability.

Adding extras to your booking

Extras are added when you book, so they’re priced and timed into the visit rather than squeezed in on the day.

Common extras include:

  • Oven interior, racks and glass door
  • Inside the fridge and freezer
  • Inside kitchen cupboards (these need to be empty)
  • Interior windows and frames
  • Carpet or upholstery cleaning
  • Mattress cleaning
  • High-level dusting, light fittings and tops of wardrobes

An oven that’s built up over a couple of years is a job in its own right. If yours needs proper attention, ask about our oven cleaning service alongside your main clean. External windows, carpet extraction and high-level work aren’t part of a routine visit, so mention them if you need them.

Not sure what’s normally covered? Our cleaning checklist shows the difference between routine, deep and tenancy tasks room by room.

How we confirm your booking

Once we’ve got your details, here’s what happens:

  1. We review your request. If anything’s unclear, such as the condition of the bathroom or whether parking is available, we’ll ask.
  2. We agree the scope and price. You’ll know which rooms and tasks are included, which extras you’ve added and the price, before anything is booked.
  3. We confirm the date and arrival window. Along with access arrangements and anything you’ve told us about pets, products or surfaces.
  4. You receive a booking confirmation email. It sets out the date, the agreed tasks, the price and access details, so you’ve got everything in writing. Check it over and reply if anything needs changing.

For end of tenancy work, send us the inventory or your agent’s cleaning requirements if you have them. We’ll build the room-by-room checklist around it. A clean can’t repair wear or damage, and no cleaner can guarantee a deposit return, but working to the agent’s list gives you the best footing. There’s more detail on our end of tenancy cleaning page.

Rescheduling or cancelling a booked clean

Plans change. Moving dates slip, builders overrun, and children get poorly. If you need to move your clean, let us know as early as you can by phone or email.

The more notice you give, the more likely we can offer a nearby date. Any notice period for changes or cancellations is confirmed in your booking details, so you’ll know where you stand before the day.

For regular cleans, tell us about holidays in advance and we’ll pause or shift the visit.

On the day of your clean

Our cleaners are vetted and insured, and they arrive with the supplies and equipment for the agreed job unless we’ve arranged otherwise. If you’d prefer eco-friendly products, ask when booking and we’ll check they suit your surfaces.

Before leaving, the cleaner checks the work against the agreed task list. If you spot something in scope that’s been missed, contact us promptly and we’ll arrange to put it right. We’ll confirm how and when to report anything when you book.

What customers say about booking with us

“I emailed on a Sunday night with photos of the kitchen and bathroom. They came back with a couple of questions about the oven, then sent the confirmation with everything listed. No surprises on the day.”

Hannah R., Gidea Park · Deep Cleaning

“Our move kept changing so I had to shift the end of tenancy clean twice. Each time I rang, they found another slot that worked before the inventory check. Keys were left with the letting agent on Main Road and that all went to plan.”

Daniel O., Romford · End of Tenancy Cleaning

“We wanted the office done after 6pm so it didn’t disrupt staff. They agreed a schedule and stuck to it, and the desks are finally free of crumbs.”

Sunita K., Hornchurch · Office Cleaning

Booking questions

Can I request a booking online?

Yes. Email us with your details and preferred dates, and we’ll reply to confirm availability and the scope. There’s no instant checkout, because we’d rather check the job properly first.

Do I need to be home during the clean?

No. Plenty of customers leave keys with a neighbour, use a key safe or arrange access through their agent. We agree the arrangement before the visit.

How long will the clean take?

It depends on the property size, its condition and the tasks agreed. We’ll give you an idea when we confirm the booking.

Can I add extras after I’ve booked?

Usually, yes. Tell us before the day so we can update the price and allow the extra time. Adding a full oven clean on arrival may not fit the slot.

How do I pay?

We’ll explain payment arrangements when we confirm your booking, so you know the details before the clean.
