Cleaning services in Romford – homes, lets and businesses

Cleaning Services in Romford and Across the RM Area

Cleaning Romford provides cleaning services in Romford for homes, landlords, tenants and local businesses. Our services include weekly house cleans in Gidea Park, end-of-tenancy work in Collier Row flats, and evening office cleans near the station. This page lists everything we do, explains what each service covers and helps you work out which one fits your situation.

Our cleaners are vetted and insured. They bring their own supplies and equipment unless we’ve agreed otherwise, and they work to a checklist agreed for your property. Quotes are free and the price is agreed upfront.

Cleaning for your home: regular, one-off and deep cleans

Most domestic cleaning services in Romford fall into one of two types: keeping a home on track, or getting it back on track. The two jobs need different amounts of time, so we price and plan them separately.

  • Regular cleaning: weekly or fortnightly visits that follow a priorities list you set. This might mean kitchen worktops, bathrooms, floors and dusting first, then the rest as time allows.
  • Domestic cleaning: general house cleaning for family homes, flats and shared houses. It can be a single visit or a recurring one.
  • One-off cleaning: a single visit before guests arrive, after an illness or once a busy month is over. You choose the rooms and tasks.
  • Deep cleaning: the detailed work a routine visit doesn’t reach. That includes skirting boards, door frames, behind and under furniture that can be moved safely, limescale build-up and greasy cupboard fronts.
  • Sparkle clean: a thorough refresh for homes that are generally looked after but need the finer details brought up.
  • Kitchen cleaning: worktops, splashbacks, cupboard fronts, hob, sink and taps, plus extractor filters where they can be removed. If you’d like the insides of cupboards cleaned, empty them before we arrive.
  • Bathroom cleaning: limescale on shower screens and taps, grout lines, toilet bases, extractor grilles and mirrors.
  • Eco cleaning: eco-friendly product options on request. We check that each product suits the surface it’s used on, such as natural stone or engineered wood.

Moving out, moving in and short-let turnovers

These cleans are judged by someone else: a letting agent, a landlord, an inventory clerk or a guest. We work to their standards, not just ours.

  • End of tenancy cleaning: a room-by-room checklist based on your inventory or your agent’s cleaning requirements. It covers inside the kitchen units, appliances, skirting, light switches and window sills.
  • End of lease cleaning: the same detailed approach for lease handovers, including commercial units and flats coming off longer agreements.
  • Move in / move out cleaning: an empty-property clean for the place you’re leaving or the one you’re moving into. It’s easiest before the furniture and boxes arrive.
  • Airbnb cleaning: turnovers between guests, with bed changes, bathroom resets, kitchen checks and a note of anything damaged or running low.

A good tenancy clean will deal with dirt. It can’t fix worn carpet, chipped paintwork or old damage. No cleaner can honestly promise you’ll get your deposit back. What we can do is clean to the agreed checklist and leave you a property that’s ready for the check.

Specialist cleaning in Romford

These are separate services because they need specific equipment, more time or a different method. They aren’t part of a standard visit.

  • After builders cleaning: fine plaster and sanding dust settles on every ledge and keeps coming back after a quick vacuum. We use HEPA-filtered vacuums, damp-wipe from the top down and make more than one pass. We also remove paint spots and sticker residue where it’s safe to do so.
  • Oven cleaning: oven interiors, racks, glass doors and grill pans. It isn’t included in regular visits, and it’s a popular add-on to end-of-tenancy cleans.
  • Carpet cleaning: hot water extraction for fitted carpets and rugs. Allow several hours of drying time, so plan around it, especially before moving furniture back or handing over keys. We’ll treat stains, but some won’t fully come out.
  • Upholstery cleaning: sofas, armchairs and dining chairs. We check the fabric care codes first.
  • Mattress cleaning: surface cleaning and freshening for mattresses, useful between tenants or guests.
  • Window cleaning: glass, frames and sills. We agree on internal and external work, plus any access limits, when we quote.
  • Disinfection cleaning: focused cleaning of touch points such as handles, switches, rails and shared equipment. It reduces germs on high-contact surfaces, but no clean can produce a sterile result.

Commercial cleaning services in Romford

For businesses, we arrange cleaning around your opening hours where we can: early mornings, evenings or quieter days. Larger premises may need a walkthrough before we quote.

  • Office cleaning: desks, crumbs under workstations, kitchenettes, meeting rooms, toilets and bins.
  • Retail cleaning: fingerprints on shop windows and display glass, shop floors, changing rooms and stockrooms. We clean before you open or after you close.
  • Restaurant cleaning: front-of-house areas, toilets and agreed kitchen surfaces. We support your own hygiene routines but don’t replace them, and we can’t promise a food-hygiene rating.
  • Gym cleaning: mats, benches, equipment touch points, changing rooms and showers.
  • School cleaning: classrooms, corridors, toilets and staff areas, scheduled around term time and the school day.
  • Warehouse cleaning: floors, welfare areas, offices and loading areas, planned around your stock movements.
  • Communal area cleaning: entrance glass, stairwells, handrails, lifts and bin stores in blocks of flats across the RM postcodes.
  • Janitorial services: ongoing day-to-day upkeep, including restocking consumables, emptying bins and checking toilets.

How to choose the right cleaning service

Start with what’s happening in the property, not the name of the service:

  1. The home is fine, but you can’t keep up. Choose regular cleaning and tell us your top three priorities.
  2. It’s been months since anything got a proper clean. Book a deep clean first, then switch to regular visits. Starting regular visits without the deep clean means the first few are spent catching up.
  3. You’re handing back keys. Choose end of tenancy cleaning, and send us the inventory or the agent’s requirements.
  4. Work has just finished on the house. Choose after builders cleaning. A standard clean won’t shift fine dust.
  5. One problem is bothering you, such as the oven, the carpet or the sofa. Book that specialist service on its own.
  6. It’s a business or shared building. Choose the commercial service that matches the premises, and we’ll agree a schedule.

Still not sure? Send us a few photos and a sentence about the situation, and we’ll recommend the right service. We’ll also tell you if a cheaper option will do the job.

What we clean, and what we don’t

We’d rather be clear now than disappoint you on the day. Routine visits don’t automatically include:

  • oven interiors
  • carpet extraction
  • external windows
  • high-level work, such as tall ceilings or the tops of tall units out of safe reach

All of these can be added and quoted separately.

We also won’t:

  • move heavy furniture unless it’s agreed beforehand
  • clean surfaces we haven’t been told are delicate without checking the care instructions first
  • promise results that cleaning can’t deliver, such as removing every stain, getting rid of all allergens or repairing wear

Tell us about the following before the visit:

  • pets
  • allergies
  • products you prefer
  • materials such as marble, oiled wood or high-gloss units

Our full room-by-room breakdown is on the cleaning checklist page.

Bundling several services into one visit

Combining services usually makes more sense than booking them separately, because one team can plan the order of work. Common combinations in Romford include:

  • End of tenancy + oven + carpet cleaning: we clean the kitchen and rooms first and the carpets last, so they dry without people walking on them.
  • After builders + window cleaning: we remove dust from the inside, then clean the glass once the dust has settled.
  • Deep clean, then regular cleaning: you get one thorough reset, followed by lighter, quicker visits.
  • Office cleaning + carpet or upholstery cleaning: we schedule it over a weekend or bank holiday, so the drying time doesn’t affect your staff.

We’ll set out everything in one quote, so you can see exactly what’s included.

Availability and booking slots

We cover Romford and the surrounding RM area, including Gidea Park, Harold Wood, Harold Hill, Collier Row, Rush Green, Hornchurch, Upminster, Emerson Park and Chadwell Heath. Check your address on our coverage page or just ask us.

Slots depend on the type of job:

  • Regular visits have set days.
  • End-of-tenancy cleans fill up quickly at the end of the month, so book once you know your checkout date.
  • Commercial cleaning is planned around your hours.

We’ll try to fit in short-notice requests, but we can’t guarantee them. Arrangements for keys, alarm codes, parking and arrival times are all agreed in advance. That includes keys left with a neighbour or a concierge.

Quick answers

Do you bring your own products? Yes, along with equipment, unless we’ve agreed otherwise. Eco-friendly options are available on request.

How is the price worked out? It depends on the property size, its condition, the tasks, how often you need us and access. We agree the scope and price before we start. The pricing page explains this in more detail.

What if something gets missed? We check our work against the agreed tasks before we leave. If something within the scope was missed, contact us promptly and we’ll arrange to put it right. We’ll confirm how re-cleans work when you book.

Can I change my regular visit? Yes. Let us know as early as you can and we’ll find another slot.
